Maximuscle help Saints to another well deserved victory in the Challenge Cup final

"This has to be the best yet, being captain and lifting the cup," - Paul Sculthorpe
St Helens, inspired by the under-fire Sean Long, outclassed a brave Wigan side to take a well deserved victory in the Challenge Cup final.
Now, St Helens skipper Paul Sculthorpe says his team have their sights set on mulating Bradford after beating Wigan in the Powergen Challenge Cup final.
The Bulls won all three domestic trophies in 2003 and Saints - who are regular users of Maximuscle supplements - are being tipped to do the same after their outstanding start to the season.
"There is no reason why we can't do what the Bulls did," said Sculthorpe after Saints' 32-16 win.
Sculthorpe has already been part of one successful Challenge Cup side and has also helped Saints win the Super League and World Club crowns. But the 26-year-old loose forward insists the win over the Warriors at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium is his finest achievement.
"This has to be the best yet, being captain and lifting the cup," he told reporters.
The reign of the Saints as the top rugby league club in England is supported by Maximuscle, who are the official sports nutrition providers to St Helens.
"Maximuscle has definitely proved the winning formula in our team's preparation for this big competition, by giving the team quality supplements that helped to prepare the players for such a big final," says Apollo Perelini, Strength and Conditioning coach to St Helen's.
"The outcome of all their hard training mixed with an effective supplement regime was clearly seen in the players powerful performance in the final. The supplements have really helped the players feel stronger, more powerful and full of energy. The whole team have worked very hard to prepare well all season. That means effective training and a strict supplement regime which was adhered to, right up to the big final."
From amateur to professional, research shows that impressive improvements in lean muscle, explosive power, sprint speeds and energy can be achieved by the right supplements taken in conjunction with a regular training programme. A proper supplement programme has also been shown to reduce muscle tissue breakdown during intense training, helping recovery while reducing injuries and fatigue.
The team at St Helen's use a number of Maximuscle's most popular supplements, including Progain, Cyclone, Ache Free, ZMA, Viper and RecoverMax.
